Orion Mechanical Systems Integration and Test Engineer Staff

is seeking an ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) Mechanical Test Engineer on the Orion program. The role involves planning, preparation, and execution of mechanical integration activities for the Orion spacecraft, supporting missions such as Artemis III and future launches.
Key Duties
Develop test plans, test procedures, and schematics for system- and subsystem-level mechanical tests on the Orion spacecraft and test articles.
Understand Orion spacecraft assembly, integration, and test flow, including test execution, anomaly resolution, and paperwork closure.
Collaborate with team members across the program, including systems engineering, CPEs/RSEs, software, test labs, manufacturing, quality, and NASA.
Lead execution of test procedures on current flight articles (Artemis III and Artemis IV) and future vehicles under Orion production.
Conduct acceptance testing, environmental testing, and ground servicing of flight hardware (fluids & pneumatic systems, mechanical structures and mechanisms) at the assembly, subsystem, and spacecraft levels.
Support test activities primarily at Kennedy Space Center, and also at other locations as required.
Periodic off‑shift and weekend work will be required.
