Salary: $150,000 + Bonus

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate attorney with at least five years of substantive commercial litigation experience. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, an analytical thinker, and a confident advocate. They are comfortable managing cases from inception through trial or resolution.

Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation.

Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other substantive filings.

Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with partners and clients.

Manage case files and client communications efficiently and proactively.

Supervise junior associates and paralegals as needed.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Active bar membership in Arizona.

Minimum 5 years of commercial litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.

Strong litigation skills, including drafting, discovery, and courtroom experience.

Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with business torts, breach of contract, shareholder disputes, and/or financial services litigation.

Prior federal and/or state court clerkship (a plus but not required).

Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures.
