Overview The Utah State University Physics Department invites applications for a tenure‑track Assistant Professor position in experimental photonics. Research areas of interest include experimental photonics for quantum and classical computing, sensing and communication.
Responsibilities
Develop a nationally recognized, externally‑funded research program that supports both the department’s graduate program and undergraduate research.
Conduct high‑quality teaching, including support and further development of the department’s Photonics Certificates programs.
Qualifications
PhD in physics or a closely related field and experience in experimental photonics research.
