The LCRA Transmission Protection and Metering Team is looking for a motivated, hardworking, and curious Engineering Associate to design metering and relay & control (R&C) projects. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills and explore new technologies in power system protection and metering.
Responsibilities
Design metering and R&C drawings for construction
Coordinate with ERCOT for EPS Metering and Meter Registration
Analyze meter data and investigate billing issues
Research best practices for metering and R&C design for implementation in LCRA TSC standard designs
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, biosystems engineering, mathematical science, physical science or related science.
Driver's license
Fit
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
Background in Power Systems
Experience with Protection, Metering, and Control Design
Experience with SEL meters and relays
Experience with AutoCAD
