Job Title: LabVIEW Developer
Location: Denver, CO – On‑Site / Hybrid
Employer: Bay Systems Consulting, supporting Lockheed Martin
About the Role Bay Systems Consulting is seeking an experienced LabVIEW Developer to support Lockheed Martin’s Orion Ground Software Test Set Operations team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, integrate, troubleshoot, and upgrade software for electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) used in the Orion spacecraft program. Your contributions will help ensure mission‑critical systems operate reliably and efficiently, supporting NASA’s Artemis program and deep‑space crewed missions.
This position is ideal for someone with advanced expertise in NI LabVIEW, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real‑Time, and a strong background in software engineering, data acquisition, and test and measurement systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain LabVIEW software for electrical ground support equipment.
Utilize LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real‑Time to create high‑performance test and measurement applications.
Integrate and troubleshoot software with a variety of hardware instruments, including power supplies, DAQs, DMMs, switches, and relays.
Implement and support communication protocols, such as VISA, TCP / IP, and serial interfaces.
Work within Linux‑based environments and contribute to Agile and DevOps workflows.
Ensure compliance with software development standards and best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
Collaborate with team members to ensure long‑term system reliability, scalability, and mission success.
Minimum Qualifications
Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) is a REQUIREMENT for this position
Proven experience developing LabVIEW applications, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real‑Time.
Strong understanding of data acquisition hardware, instrumentation, and measurement techniques.
Proficiency in computer systems, programming architectures, and information processing.
Experience with Linux‑based environments and software development lifecycle processes.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working in a team‑oriented environment.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Agile or DevOps workflows.
Familiarity with spacecraft test and ground support equipment.
Understanding of software integration for mission‑critical systems.
