About the Opportunity: Our client, a respected plaintiff‑side employment law firm in Los Angeles, is seeking a motivated Trial & Arbitration Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This position focuses on individual employee arbitration matters—and offers substantial hands‑on trial and arbitration experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Attorneys in this group handle a steady caseload of employee disputes requiring private arbitration and are frequently in hearings or trials. The firm is looking for someone who is polished, articulate, and eager to be in the trenches of litigation. While prior employment law experience is helpful, it is not required—strong civil discovery, motion practice, and litigation skills are what matter most.
This is primarily a remote role, while requiring the attorney to live in the Los Angeles area for in‑person appearances and meetings as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a high‑volume docket of employee arbitration cases from intake through hearing or trial.
Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and preparing motions.
Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
Prepare for and participate in arbitration hearings and trials.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and arbitrators.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and litigation staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution.

Active California Bar license in good standing.
Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience (employment background a plus, but not required).
Excellent legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Professional demeanor, clear communicator, and enthusiastic about courtroom work.
