The Opportunity The paralegal position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking for career growth within CACI. In this role, you will work collaboratively with teams of DOJ attorneys to handle a wide variety of litigation support tasks, ranging from basics such as preparing and filing documents with courts and organizing, tracking and archiving legal documents, to more complex tasks such as redacting privilege information, conducting factual and legal research, assisting with witness interviews, depositions, and trial preparation, including binding, indexing discovery, and preparing evidentiary exhibits. Responsibilities

Compiling, preparing, and summarizing relevant materials for use by attorneys in discovery and in the preparation of motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

Summarize depositions and other transcripts; maintain case files.

Perform simple legal research.

Index, track and control document discovery (including documents produced and received in discovery).

Prepare exhibit cross‑references.

Assist DOJ attorneys in the courtroom.

Review documents for relevance according to established guidelines and criteria.

Qualifications

Requires a paralegal certificate, JD, or current attendance at an ABA‑accredited law school with at least one year of study completed.

One year of legal training or experience, or at least two years of college education may substitute for the paralegal certificate.

At least one year of litigation paralegal experience or related project experience is required; trial experience is highly desirable.

Basic legal knowledge, including standard legal citation and familiarity with legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.

Familiarity with e‑Discovery procedures and resources, including basic ESI tools.

Excellent written and oral communication skills; thorough knowledge of computer applications (word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware systems).

DOJ MBI clearance must be obtainable (U.S. citizenship required).

Pay Range This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and applied to this position.

Minimum Required Hourly Wage $25.58
