Kessenick Gamma is a boutique law firm representing healthcare and technology clients, including several industry leaders. The firm's practices include mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation, regulatory compliance, and commercial litigation.
We are seeking an experienced litigation associate with at least 4 years of litigation experience to join our team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have experience with complex research assignments, drafting substantive motions, drafting discovery and managing discovery projects, and preparing for depositions and trials. Experience with healthcare litigation, contract disputes, and/or business torts is preferred.
This position is an excellent opportunity to obtain substantive legal experience in the industries driving the economy.
Primary Job Functions
Proactively manage deadlines across multiple clients and matters
Conduct complex legal research and analysis
Communicate with clients and colleagues in a straightforward and accessible way
Strong writing skills, including for letters, pleadings, and motions
Draft strategic discovery requests and responses
Review documents efficiently for case analysis and trial preparation
Prepare for, take, and defend depositions
Prepare for and participate in arbitration hearings and trials
Required Education and Experience
At least 4 years post-law school experience
Membership in California Bar
Strong academic credentials
Must be pragmatic, demonstrate excellent judgment, and take pride in your work
