Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Architectural Designer located in Houston, TX. The Senior Architectural Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating innovative architectural designs that align with client needs and project goals. Day-to-day tasks include translating design concepts into detailed plans, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations. The role also involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to oversee project progress. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining design quality standards while adhering to timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
Proficiency in architectural design tools and software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and zoning regulations
Experience in creating conceptual designs, design development, and construction documentation
Skills in project coordination, client communication, and teamwork
Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to solve design-related challenges
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
Professional licensure as an Architect is preferred
Prior experience in commercial construction design is highly valued
