What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned area and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas as required by the site, using discretion and professionalism in all interactions.
Write detailed incident reports and document observations, activities, and/or unusual occurrences as required.
Assist with crowd management and/or direct individuals as needed to maintain orderly conduct within the location.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed during incidents or emergencies.
Operate communication devices and security-related technology to maintain contact with Allied Universal management and other personnel.
Minimum Requirements
Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
Valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
Proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
