Lee Kimball Project Engineer – Design‑Build Remodeling Able to commute to Reading, MA. Onsite. Fulltime.

The Opportunity As a Project Engineer you will play a vital role in ensuring each Lee Kimball project starts strong and stays on course. You will collaborate across design, estimating, and construction teams to create detailed scopes, accurate budgets, and smooth procurement strategies that set every project up for success.

Your work will shape the foundation of every home we build—translating design intent into clear, actionable plans that our team can execute with confidence and excellence.

What You'll Do

Define & Prepare:

Develop precise scopes of work and estimates using CoConstruct, adapting templates based on drawings and input from the design and construction teams.

Collaborate & Coordinate:

Lead site walkthroughs with designers, trades, and PMs to confirm measurements, materials, and pricing accuracy.

Procure & Track:

Compile and manage bid packages, analyze vendor and trade pricing, and track procurement lead times.

Refine & Optimize:

Maintain and update project specifications, budgets, and change orders as designs evolve.

Support & Streamline:

Work alongside leadership to enhance operational systems, bringing consistency and clarity to every phase of our process.

What You Bring

Proven experience in residential estimating, project engineering, or related construction roles.

Strong technical skills with the ability to interpret architectural drawings and specs.

Proficiency in construction management platforms (CoConstruct experience a plus).

Clear communicator who values accuracy, collaboration, and teamwork.

A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent field experience.
