As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Sr at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities
Drive critical decisions in deployment of production processes
Understand thermal profiling for convection reflow and selective wave
Responsible for qualification and release of products into production
Support planning and execution of project plans and design reviews; involve in production release of modified or new product documentation
Develop processes and procedures to achieve critical quality certifications
Support the manufacturing of complex parts and sub‑assemblies by providing technical expertise and support for the factory
Review manufacturing processes to ensure they will yield parts compliant with engineering drawings and specifications
Create and participate in PFMEA activities, work instruction deployment, and control plan
Lead and manage a team of engineers to optimize manufacturing processes
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
Implement advanced manufacturing technologies and drive continuous improvement
Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
Qualifications
College degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
Experience with project management and Kaizen facilitation
Expertise in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes
Strong project management skills
Ability to read technical drawings and documentation (electronics & mechanical)
Knowledge of Six Sigma/quality tools and APQP (PFMEA, control plan, SPC MSA, etc.)
Pick‑and‑place machine programming experience
Defining parameters and programming for screen printers
AOI/AXI experience
Knowledge of conformal coating process
Experience with modern circuit card production equipment
Development of control plan (PMAP, APQP)
Ability to generate thermal profiles, ionic testing and guidelines, conformal coating process
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven problem‑solving skills, including interpretation of business performance and financial data, definition of actions, and implementation of solutions
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of leadership
