Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with strong experience in real estate transactions to join a growing business and real‑estate practice group in Sioux Falls, SD. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial real estate matters and a demonstrated ability to deliver practical, business‑oriented legal solutions to clients.

Base Pay Range $160,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in the acquisition, sale, financing, leasing, and development of commercial and residential real estate.

Draft, review, and negotiate complex real‑estate contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and development agreements.

Conduct and oversee due diligence, including title, survey, and zoning reviews.

Collaborate with clients, developers, lenders, and other counsel to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Advise clients on real‑estate‑related risk management, corporate structuring, and dispute avoidance.

Work closely with partners while maintaining autonomy over client matters.

Mentor and support junior attorneys and paralegals as needed.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and active Minnesota or South Dakota bar membership (or eligibility for admission).

5‑8+ years of real‑estate transactional experience, ideally in a law firm setting.

Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple complex matters with minimal supervision.

Team‑oriented approach with a commitment to delivering excellent client service.

Experience with real‑estate financing and development matters is preferred.
