Travel CT Technologist position in Mesquite, Nevada. 13‑week contract, 36 hours per week (12‑hour days), shift: days. Start ASAP.
Job Description Join a leading healthcare team and apply your imaging skills to provide high‑quality patient care. Duties include operating CT equipment, sterilizing radiologic gear, explaining procedures to patients, ensuring safety and radiation protection, and evaluating scan quality.
Responsibilities
Operate computerized tomography equipment to acquire diagnostic images.
Maintain and sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
Explain scanning procedures and address patient concerns.
Ensure patient safety and appropriate radiation protection.
Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) preferred.
Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.
Compensation & Contract Details
Weekly pay: $2,016 – $2,222 (subject to tax‑free stipends for meals, housing, incidentals).
13‑week travel contract with possibility to extend.
12‑hour day shifts, 36 hours per week.
