Introduction Our client is a well‑established hospital in Dunedin, Florida, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dynamic and multi‑faceted team. This full‑service practice treats small animals such as cats and dogs, as well as a broad range of exotic species including snakes, turtles, and small mammals.
Working Hours / Rota The hospital operates seven days a week, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays, with extended hours on Wednesdays until 8:00 pm and reduced hours on weekends. Veterinarians typically work a 3–4 day schedule, allowing for excellent work‑life balance. Full‑time and part‑time options are available.
Role Description And Responsibilities This role encompasses all the responsibilities expected of a general practice veterinarian. The position is open to both experienced professionals and newly graduated doctors looking to begin their careers in a supportive and diverse clinical environment.
Practice Details This full‑service hospital delivers a wide range of veterinary care, including surgery, dentistry, and wellness services. The practice also offers complementary therapies such as Chinese medicine, acupuncture, cryotherapy, and ozone therapy. It provides a comprehensive approach to pet care, supported by advanced medical offerings and additional services such as bathing and spa treatments.
Team The hospital's team includes nine DVMs working within a collaborative and supportive environment. The culture emphasizes mentorship and teamwork, ensuring that veterinarians at all stages of their careers can thrive.
Candidate Requirements
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
Package Salary up to $180,000 (Annual)
