Temporary Payroll Specialist (6-Month Assignment) Location:

Flexible within office hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)

Hours:

30 hours/week

Pay Rate:

$27-$30/hour

Ultimate staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Payroll Specialist

for a temporary 6-month assignment. The ideal candidate will be able to independently manage payroll for up to 50 employees

using Sage software,

from start to finish. This role requires strong communication skills to coordinate with employees, collect timecards, match them to purchase orders, and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

You must have experience with Sage Software,

it is the main requirement.

Responsibilities

Process payroll independently for up to 50 employees using Sage.

Collect and verify employee timecards.

Match timecards to purchase orders for accuracy.

Communicate with employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.

Maintain confidentiality and compliance with payroll procedures.

Ensure timely submission of payroll on a weekly basis in the Sage System.

Calculate 401K and other incidentals in the Sage system.

Collaborate with internal teams as needed to resolve discrepancies.

Requirements

Proven experience processing payroll independently.

Proficiency in Sage payroll software.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work 30 hours/week with flexible scheduling between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
