Desktop Support Level 2 – Onsite in Austin, TX

Location:

Austin, TX 78746

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay Rate:

$24–$27 per hour (benefits available separately)

We are looking for a skilled

Desktop Support Level 2

professional to deliver high-quality technical assistance to internal users and provide support for global teams. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills—including interaction with senior leadership—and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Desktop Support:

Provide Level 2 support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.

Handle system installations, upgrades, and routine maintenance.

Networking Assistance:

Perform basic network troubleshooting (e.g., connectivity, VPN, and device configuration).

Ticket Management:

Use ticketing tools (such as Zendesk or Manage Engine) to track and resolve issues promptly.

Document resolutions clearly and accurately.

Documentation:

Maintain updated troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and internal knowledge resources.

Local & Global Support:

Assist onsite users and remote/global teams with technical needs.

Ensure timely and effective problem resolution.

Executive Support:

Provide professional, confidential technical assistance to C‑suite executives.

Configure and troubleshoot iOS and Android devices.

Hardware Management:

Set up and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripherals.

Qualifications

Experience:

2+ years in desktop support or a similar IT role.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with Windows and MacOS environments.

Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DNS, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting).

Familiarity with ticketing systems like Zendesk or Manage Engine.

Soft Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication, including experience supporting senior leadership.

Excellent problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.

Additional Requirements:

Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Collaborative and proactive approach to problem‑solving.
