Job Summary Open for the position of Social Media Specialist (Starting $22.59) (FT/PT).
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media relations, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Key Responsibilities
Adopt, create, and manage engaging content across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), and LinkedIn.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external agencies to plan and execute social media campaigns.
Create multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and live social media coverage.
Analyze social media metrics, derive actionable insights, and optimize content strategies to meet KPIs.
Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure accuracy and brand adherence in all content.
Plan and execute live social media event coverage and on‑camera content.
Prioritize multiple tasks, manage several campaigns simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Work flexible, fast‑paced schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities
Proven experience creating engaging content and managing campaigns across major platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in creating multimedia content (graphics, videos, live coverage).
Strong knowledge of major social media platforms.
Ability to analyze metrics, derive insights, and optimize strategies.
Strong project and time‑management skills; self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.
Collaborative team player with experience working cross‑functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related field.
Additional certifications in social media marketing, content creation, or digital analytics (e.g., HubSpot Social Media Certification, Hootsuite Social Marketing Certification, Google Analytics).
3–5 years of experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns, preferably within hospitality, gaming, entertainment, or related consumer‑focused industry.
Proven track record of successful campaigns that increased engagement, audience growth, and brand awareness.
Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite) and analytics platforms.
Demonstrated ability to create on‑camera content and conduct live social media event coverage.
