Inside Higher Ed . Location: Boston, MA, United States. Salary: Grade 49 ( $86,050.00 - $114,750.00 ) Position Type: Full‑Time/Regular (Temporary 2‑year training, backfill). Responsibilities

Provide functional support and maintenance for the Kuali Research system and other key Research Administration systems. Liaise with the IS&T department as the primary business analyst for research administration system projects. Analyze business processes for new and existing workflows and functionality to enhance processes. Translate business requirements into system changes, enhancements, and documented standard procedures through effective functional writing. Represent the client side on research administration system projects, assist with user acceptance testing, and handle tier 1 and tier 2 system support. Support the Award Maintenance team by processing award and post‑award actions. Provide training to central office staff and the broader research community on system use. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, business administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of formal education and experience. At least three to five years of experience in sponsored program administration (senior level) or one or more years for the Business Analyst level. System support experience preferred, along with strong problem‑solving and communication skills. Ability to learn and master complex systems and understand interdependencies when updating and manipulating those systems. Strong business process analysis experience and functional writing skills. Experience translating business requirements into system changes, enhancements, and documented standard procedures. Ability to lead meetings and present to key stakeholders and executive leadership. Proven teamwork and collaboration in a university or related environment.
