Visual Merchandising / Retail Coordinator
Position Overview The Visual Merchandising / Retail Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing retail strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and market share for the brand’s brick-and-mortar and shop-in-shop stores. This role will oversee retail operations, drive customer experience initiatives, and ensure that our stores reflect the brand values and premium positioning.
We are looking for a dynamic retail sales manager willing to travel across 12 stores, train retail staff on the brand and its products, overlook the NYC showroom and take ownership of sales performance in key and flagship retail stores.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning
Develop and implement comprehensive retail strategies aligned with the brand’s overall business objectives.
Identify growth opportunities in existing and new markets to expand the retail footprint.
Pivotal role in launching the brand within the US market.
Sales and Profitability
Set and achieve sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals for retail operations.
Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions and adjustments to strategies.
Take direct responsibility for sales performance for the bricks and mortar store fleet.
Customer Experience
Enhance the customer journey by implementing best practices in customer service and engagement.
Foster a customer-centric culture within the retail team.
Training & Development
Travel to 12 stores regularly to train retail staff on the brands story and product offerings.
Implement training programs to improve product knowledge and service standards.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage retail budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Optimize cost control measures to maximize profitability.
Market Expansion
Identify and evaluate potential locations for new store openings.
Develop and execute plans for entering new retail markets.
Retail Trainings
Conduct Quarterly Retail Trainings with the floor, refreshing on brand story and history and focusing on upcoming product launches.
Commercial Landscape – Report Back on the commercial landscape of the store, customer profile and product opportunities.
Product feedback: Following each store visit produce a detailed feedback of the product including what is driving sales, where there is an opportunity to add to the assortment, what the customer likes/dislikes about the product offering.
Marketing Opportunities – Feedback on any in-store marketing opportunities that are available and how the brand can participate.
Oversee day-to-day retail operations of 12 partner stores and our showroom in New York.
Manage inventory, visual merchandising, and store layout.
Ensure operational excellence and compliance with company policies and standards.
