Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Developer to lead the extraction, transformation, and migration of HR and payroll data from Oracle systems into the Dayforce HCM platform. This role is critical to ensuring data integrity, compliance, and seamless transition during our HCM modernization initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze Oracle HCM and Payroll data structures to identify relevant data sets for migration
Design and implement ETL processes to extract data from Oracle and load into Dayforce
Perform data mapping between Oracle source fields and Dayforce target schemas
Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, and IT teams to validate business rules and data requirements
Cleanse, transform, and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Support testing cycles including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Document migration logic, mapping specifications, and validation procedures
Troubleshoot data issues and optimize performance of migration scripts
Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and audit requirements

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience in data migration or ETL development
Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database architecture
Experience with Oracle HCM or Payroll modules
Familiarity with Dayforce data structures and import tools (e.g., Data Loader, APIs)
Knowledge of data mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation techniques
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Experience with Dayforce implementation projects
Familiarity with HR and payroll compliance standards
Exposure to cloud migration strategies and tools
