Are you a highly motivated, diligent individual with an inquisitive nature and a customer service approach? If so, we are seeking a dedicated Energy Analyst to join the Wholesale Business and Analysis team! In this position you will support the billing and reporting functions for LCRA and LCRA’s affiliates. Key aspects of this role include ownership and pride in deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate products for your internal/external customers. This is an opportunity to collaborate amongst peers and instill a team player mentality with a can‑do attitude while solving problems. In this role, you will be an SME that ensures accurate invoices and reports are provided to customers in a timely manner utilizing Oracle billing system (CCS) and Power BI Portal. You Will Be Trusted To
Create and update multiple reports using various tools
Identify and implement efficiencies in routine work
Identify and correct errors in complex mathematical calculations performed by various software tools used
Understand and implement complex ERCOT protocols related to ERCOT settlement, scheduling and dispute resolution.
Translate and implement market changes that impact billing and reporting
Ensure quality assurance and quality control of data and documentation
You Qualify With
Four or more years' experience in energy analytics or relevant experience.
A degree(s) in business, economics, engineering, mathematics or a relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
You Are a Great Fit With
Bachelor's or higher degree in business, economics, engineering, mathematics or relevant field
Experience in VBA, Excel and other analytical tools
Effective quantitative and analytical skills with accuracy
Effective internal and external relationship skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
