Job Title Thoracic Oncologist – BI Lahey Health – Burlington and Peabody, MA

Overview The Division of Hematology/Oncology at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center (LHMC), a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), seeks a full‑time BC/BE Medical Oncologist specializing in thoracic cancer. The successful candidate will serve both the LHMC Burlington and Lahey Medical Center Peabody sites, focus on thoracic cancer care, and may have further disease‑specific opportunities. Administrative and nurse‑navigation support is excellent, with infrequent night and weekend call expectations.

Responsibilities

Provide medical oncologic care to thoracic cancer patients at LHMC Burlington and LMCP Peabody.

Serve as a regional expert in thoracic medical oncology within the Lahey Cancer Institute (LCI), collaborating across multiple hospitals in the BILH system.

Participate in the training of medical students and fellows from multiple partner institutions.

Engage in a large clinical research program, including SWOG and NRG participation.

Possibility of a leadership role in thoracic oncology across the 13‑hospital BILH system.

Compensation Annual base salary range: $360,000.00 – $400,000.00 USD. Additional performance‑based incentive compensation may be available.
