General Manager - HOA Midrise - Uptown Dallas
Location: Uptown Dallas (Near Greenwood Cemetery), ZIP Code: 75204. Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; on‑call 24/7. Manage Board of Directors (BOD), homeowner and community relations; attend all community and committee meetings as appropriate. Train and foster team building among all employees involved on the account. Conduct all walkthroughs (landscape, building, violation, architectural review, work order verification, etc.) based on daily, weekly and monthly checklists. Responsible for association fiscal oversight including financial statement review and comprehension; report to board if spending exceeds budget. Develop and prepare an annual draft budget for BOD approval; implement and manage budget monthly. Ensure all preventive maintenance procedures and policies are adhered to by engineering staff. Establish and maintain building emergency guidelines; conduct fire drills and maintain emergency equipment. Coordinate and implement move‑in/move‑out activities. Manage vendor relations, including contracted on‑site staff. Coordinate and oversee association third‑party contracts; advise board on performance. Process violations. Manage all special projects. Authorize payment of invoices. Manage bid process. Educate association board members on legislation changes affecting the HOA. Maintain familiarity with laws and regulations governing condominium associations and ensure compliance. Responsible for all aspects of the annual meeting/election process. Utilize company support staff to accomplish daily tasks efficiently and respectfully. Attend training classes as required. Be available on‑call for after‑hours emergencies. Requirements
Education & Certification High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred. CMCA, AMS and/or PCAM accreditation from CAI preferred. Experience & Skills At least 3 years of experience in property management, preferably within midrise or highrise HOA or multifamily environments, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and training abilities. Working knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting processes. Regular travel to on‑site community location as required. Benefits
