We are a vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm with offices in Bay Harbor(Miami). Our portfolio is focused on industrial and logistics assets across multiple U.S. markets. With a growing pipeline of acquisitions and development projects, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Miami office. The Senior Accountant will be directly responsible for
bookkeeping, day-to-day operations, financial reporting, and supporting investor communications.
The position is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, execution-focused, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations: general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
Manage consolidations across multiple entities, holdcos, and joint ventures.
Lead investor reporting, including capital account statements, waterfalls, and distribution schedules.
Handle lender reporting requirements, covenant monitoring, and compliance certificates.
Drive budgeting and cash flow forecasting processes; integrate new acquisitions and developments into reporting.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors on audits, tax returns, and cost segregation studies.
Implement best practices, strengthen internal controls, and optimize accounting systems (Sage Intacct, AppFolio, Bill, Yardi or similar).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in real estate investment or development.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, consolidations, and real estate financial structures (capital calls, waterfalls, promotes).
Experience preparing financial statements, managing audits, and working with lenders.
Proficiency with real estate accounting platforms and reporting tools.
Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work directly with executives and investors.
Self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
