Description
AWS Life Sciences in Applied AI Solutions org is working on a new AI agent(s) application in the clinical trials domain. Clinical trials are the most time‑consuming and cost‑heavy step in bringing new drugs to market, and we aim to automate and accelerate this process, resulting in better health outcomes for patients. It’s a new team building an end‑user enterprise application that orchestrates multiple AI agents to streamline the entire clinical trial process, from planning and monitoring to FDA submission. The team operates like a startup, working with early beta customers to iterate quickly. We are looking for entrepreneurial front‑end engineers to build humanAI agent experiences, working with product, design and science teams. Customer experience and design are key to the success of this new product, and we invite talented engineers to join us on this journey.
About the Team The AWS Life Sciences team in Applied AI Solutions organizes around delivering AI‑driven solutions to the healthcare sector. We collaborate cross‑functionally with data scientists, domain experts, and customer advocates to ensure that our solutions meet the needs of clinicians and researchers worldwide.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of professional front‑end, web or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
1+ year of experience with computer science fundamentals (object‑oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis).
Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of experience with agile software development methodology.
Experience with common front‑end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript and Node.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300 to $223,600 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you may qualify for sign‑on bonuses, stock awards and comprehensive benefits.
