We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager, Payments & Risk to oversee our payments infrastructure and strategy. This role will be responsible for supporting integrations with payment processors and tokenization services, driving optimization of payment performance, and reducing overall payment costs, including interchange fees. The Program Manager will serve as the subject‑matter expert on payment networks, card‑not‑present (CNP) processing, and industry best practices, ensuring our payment stack is scalable, secure, and optimized for both customer experience and cost efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

Gather requirements across diverse functional areas and collaborate closely with engineering and cross‑functional teams to deliver digital global payment solutions.

Support operational integrations with payment processors, gateways, and tokenization services.

Work with engineering and cross‑functional teams to break down complex problems into manageable steps, ensuring high‑quality products with exceptional payment experiences and easy integration.

Manage Proofs of Concept (POCs) and pilots for new technologies and market opportunities.

Maintain organization and prioritize multiple deliverables effectively.

Navigate ambiguity in a dynamic cross‑functional environment with enthusiasm.

Lead and/or participate in strategic assessments, including competitive reviews, identification of payment industry best practices, and benchmarking.

Leverage existing and proactively seek new and emerging research networks to provide timely information that supports and informs decision‑making.

Achieve corporate and business strategies by defining and driving change throughout the businesses.

Assess and analyze business strategy, business requirements, current state environment, and investment choices to evaluate business alternatives that meet sponsor needs and satisfy transformational direction.

Help set strategic directions for the Team by understanding the market and future demands in terms of capacity and technical skills.

What You Have:

7‑10 years of experience in fintech, e‑commerce, and/or consulting, with a focus on strategy, analytics, or operations preferred.

Experience supporting integrations with payment processors and tokenization services and strong understanding of card‑not‑present (CNP) payments, tokenization (network tokens, third‑party vaults), interchange optimization strategies, issuer processing logic, and PCI compliance.

Team‑oriented and collaborative, with exceptional skills in consensus building.

Demonstrated ability to assess business needs, identify solutions, and strong analytical skills to model customer adoption and usage, as well as evaluate the financial and business impact of strategic initiatives.

Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively partner at multiple levels and across internal and external disciplines.

Strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical skills, with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives and requests simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Strong change management skills, adept at navigating shifting priorities, constant technological advancements, and increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.

Problem‑solving abilities: Capable of resolving issues involving people, resources, and processes through logic, common sense, and data, focusing on identifying root causes rather than just symptoms.

The national cash compensation range for this role is $96,000‑$134,000*.

*Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401(k) or medical, dental or vision insurance).
