We’re looking for a highly analytical and proactive candidate to support our operations and planning functions. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth coordination of materials, data, and production schedules across multiple sites. The analyst will work closely with the Supply Chain and Operations leadership teams to drive demand and supply planning, inventory management, and data‑driven decision‑making. This role blends hands‑on planning with strategic analysis to strengthen end‑to‑end supply chain performance. The ideal candidate brings strong ERP experience, a data‑oriented mindset, and the ability to turn insights into clear business actions.
Primary Responsibilities Demand Planning
Manage the process of translating sales forecasts into executable demand plans within the company’s ERP system.
Lead monthly demand planning reviews in collaboration with commercial and finance partners.
Analyze historical trends, customer inputs, and market indicators to build and maintain a 12‑month rolling forecast.
Prepare demand review materials for monthly planning and S&OP meetings.
Define key metrics to measure forecast accuracy and identify opportunities for improvement.
Segment near‑term confirmed demand from longer‑term forecasts using appropriate planning parameters.
Supply Planning
Translate demand signals into optimized production and supply plans across manufacturing and distribution locations.
Partner with planners, buyers, and site leads to align production with capacity and inventory goals.
Maintain planning parameters and horizons to ensure accurate MRP signals.
Identify supply constraints and develop mitigation plans such as expediting, reallocations, or alternate sourcing.
Monitor inventory levels to improve turns and balance raw material and finished goods availability.
Analytics & Reporting
Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI reports related to inventory turns, service levels, demand accuracy, and on‑time delivery.
Conduct variance analysis between forecast, plan, and actual results.
Provide root cause analysis and recommendations to drive better decision‑making.
Partner with IT and other departments to improve data integrity, reporting automation, and master data management.
Process & Systems
Enhance and document planning processes within the ERP and related planning tools.
Standardize workflows and reporting to improve visibility and accountability.
Support ongoing improvement initiatives in S&OP, MRP optimization, and supply/demand balancing.
Contribute to implementation of advanced planning functions such as master scheduling or automated replenishment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field (advanced certification or MBA a plus).
5 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or operations analysis within a manufacturing or distribution setting.
Strong understanding of ERP and MRP systems (experience with any major ERP platform).
Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with data visualization or Power BI tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Comfortable working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
