Advanced Radiology Consultants
Advanced Radiology Consultants invites dedicated MRI Technologists to join our team. The role offers competitive pay, a $10,000 sign‑on bonus, and a supportive, patient‑focused culture.
Schedule Mon‑Fri 6:45am‑3:15pm with rotating Saturday 6:45am‑3:15pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform MRI procedures per ordered scans achieving high quality and timely delivery.
Escort patients to the treatment room and assist with dressings as necessary.
Complete all required paperwork to ensure timely MRI service delivery.
Explain MRI procedures to address patient concerns and questions.
Administer I.V. contrast.
Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
Obtain interpretation by radiologist.
Conduct quality control measures to monitor machine performance and report any malfunctions or adjustments to the site manager.
Focus on customer service and use courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors to maintain a professional atmosphere.
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ARRT® (MR) certification and Connecticut licensure required.
Two years of clinical experience in all MRI procedure types.
Siemens or GE experience preferred.
