We need a Senior Sales Executive for the FinServ Strategic Accounts group, focused on the largest, most complex financial services enterprises. This role requires building deep relationships across multiple business units at Fortune 100 accounts, interacting with CISOs and technical staff, and partnering with sales engineers and channel partners. Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) are consultative, enterprise‑level sales professionals who craft and execute account plans that maximize Proofpoint’s success and ensure high customer satisfaction. Location: Framingham, MA Salary: $150,000.00 – $170,000.00 (annual) Job Requirements

Develop a comprehensive strategy and tactics to increase Proofpoint sales into each assigned account. Lead prospecting and cultivation of all new sales opportunities. Forecast sales opportunities accurately and achieve quarterly and annual quotas. Maintain high account satisfaction. How You’ll Succeed

Act as the primary driver of Proofpoint’s sales efforts in assigned accounts. Demonstrate strong product knowledge and align solutions to account needs. Understand Proofpoint processes with meticulous attention to detail. Build solid working relationships at all organizational levels, including executives. Deliver compelling sales presentations and orchestrate solution selling capabilities. What You Bring To The Team

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding booking goals. Experience developing existing accounts while adding new majors. Strong business acumen and executive presence. Understanding of the security threat landscape. Trusted advisor of the CISO with technical acumen. Ability to differentiate Proofpoint from competitors in sales. Partner with Channel to access new accounts. Operational excellence: forecast accuracy, SFDC pipeline development, etc. Continuous knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning.
