The Opportunity This remote position is in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. As a global leader in diabetes care, we’re committed to delivering the highest quality products and unwavering support to our customers. As a Diabetes Sales Specialist, you will meet or exceed sales quotas for ADC products and collaborate with various channels.
Primary Function
Meet or exceed sales quotas/objectives for ADC products.
Collaborate with various channels, Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care representatives.
Establish strong relationships with a broad base of health‑care constituents (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, CDEs, etc.).
Act in a friendly, respectful, adaptive manner focusing on the needs and interests of others.
Keep current on internal and competitive products and positioning by utilizing a variety of resources.
Understand and convey information professionally and accurately.
Plan and follow through with short‑ and long‑term results based on business trends.
Track and report progress against plans, redirecting efforts as necessary.
Maintain high levels of accuracy in all administrative tasks and call reporting/tracking.
Maintain accountability for all samples in accordance with division guidelines and quality systems.
Ensure compliance with applicable corporate and division policies.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2–4 years of sales experience in the health‑care industry with a commendable track record.
Excellent communication skills, high energy, integrity, and ambition to succeed.
Preferred
More than 4 years of relevant experience.
Diabetes clinical knowledge and experience calling on endocrinologists.
Compensation The base pay for this position is $66,700.00 – $133,300.00. In specific locations, the range may vary.
