Position Summary Sr. Manager – Facilities Engineering & Maintenance & Operations – Fremont Site Reporting to: Sr. Director, Corporate Real Estate & Workplace (CREW) Location: 41,000 Osgood Rd, Fremont, CA (24/7 wafer fab plant)

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary facilities team of engineers, technicians and contractors.

Oversee day‑to‑day operations of critical fab systems (HVAC, Ultra‑Pure Water, wastewater treatment, chemical & gas delivery, Building Management Systems).

Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, manage the CMMS, and respond effectively to facility emergencies.

Manage capital improvement projects, new equipment installations, infrastructure upgrades, and system expansions.

Control the facilities budget, manage vendor contracts, and track performance metrics (KPIs).

Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, local codes and internal EH&S programs; develop SOPs and emergency response plans.

Promote ESG goals by monitoring utility consumption, waste, and sustainability initiatives.

Produce periodic presentations on projects, KPIs and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

10‑15 years of progressive experience in facilities management, including leadership in semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Facilities Management or related field.

In‑depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, high‑purity water, chemical delivery, BMS, and cleanroom environments.

Experience with CMMS (Maximo, Wonderware, Johnson Controls) and BAS systems.

Strong project management track record – delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills; ability to thrive in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Desired competencies: predictive maintenance, reliability center, root‑cause corrective action, and financial acumen.
