Senior Automation Test Engineer, 100% Remote

Note:
The candidate must obtain
Top Security Clearance , which requires completing
a minimum of 3+ years of residence in the USA.
Strong on Selenium Grid/WebDriver, PlayWright, Cucumber and Gherkin,
Unit testing with jUnit, TestNG, SAFe agile delivery methodology.
Experience with AI automation testing tools such as testim, mabl, functionize, etc.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation scripts for functional, integration, and end-to-end scenario tests.
Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to create and deploy automated tests, scripts, and tools that streamline workflows, reduce manual labor, and improve overall efficiency within the SAFe agile delivery methodology.
Design and develop automated tests, scripts, and tools to support software development, testing, and deployment processes.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
Conduct system testing to ensure that automated solutions are functioning as expected and meet business requirements.
Continuously monitor and improve automated systems and processes to optimize performance and minimize errors.
Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective use of automation tools and systems.
Requirements
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of related experience including:
Unit testing with jUnit, TestNG
Testing toolsets/frameworks such as
Selenium Grid/WebDriver, PlayWright, Cucumber and Gherkin
API/Services Testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured
Atlassian Application Lifecycle Management (JIRA/Confluence).
Manual, functional and regression testing and preparing relevant test cases
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in test automation including planning, assessments, script development & maintenance preferably in a cloud environment.
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
Java
IDEs such as Eclipse, VS Code and IntelliJ
XML, JSON
Github/Bitbucket
Experience in Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
Must be a self-starter/self-directed member of the team.
Availability during the core business hours of 9AM–5PM EST.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Experience with AI automation testing tools such as testim, mabl, functionize, etc.
Experience with writing SQL queries, understanding various data formats and related technologies for testing.
Candidates in the eastern, central, or mountain time zones.
Experience supporting US federal government contracts.
