Automotive Personnel, a leading Talent Acquisition Corporation based in Tampa, FL, is seeking a full-time, high-performing Head of Acquisitions. Our client is a leading provider of financial products to independent automotive dealerships. The Head of Acquisition is an exceptional role responsible for driving the sales strategy and execution across the organization. This position requires a unique, proactive leader who is an avid and experienced hunter, currently generating new business opportunities.

Job Summary As the Head of Acquisition, you will be in the field, calling on independent automotive dealerships and presenting our services. The Head of Acquisition role is both hunting (new independent Dealership accounts) and farming (cultivating and maintaining the preexisting dealer relationships).

Responsibilities

Grow the current base of dealer partners

Build your own book of businesses, and shape our sales culture

Maintain successful relations with our dealer partners

Become an essential asset to your dealers with your knowledge and commitment to exceptional service

Accessible to your dealers’ needs

Build a network by identifying, qualifying, and onboarding independent luxury and exotic dealerships nationwide

Drive growth by owning the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing

Be the face of the corporation at the trade shows, auctions, and industry gatherings

Collaborate across teams by working with the Executive, Underwriting department, and legal department to deliver a smooth, white-glove dealer experience

Set and exceed sales goals by hitting performance targets for dealer acquisition volume and revenue growth.

Experience / Traits / Abilities Ability to travel throughout the area

Experience calling independent auto dealers and becoming the market leader

An avid “Hunter” who is excellent at prospecting for new business

A proven record of sourcing and closing high-value dealer relationships

A deep knowledge of independent dealership operations, especially in the higher-end market

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Self-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

The prospective candidate should be comfortable working with CRM tools and reporting performance metrics.

A “Farmer” who is excellent at maintaining and keeping relationships

Results-driven with a sense of urgency to achieve goals

Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, and Teams).

A valid driver’s license and current auto insurance are required for this position.

Key Performance Objectives (KPOs)

3 months : Create a strong and active pipeline of luxury/exotic dealers

6 months : Signed up several dealers who are actively financing vehicles

12 months : A measurable portfolio of high-value dealer relationships delivering consistent financing volume.

24 months : You are recognized as a trusted partner in the exotic/luxury dealer community with repeat business and strong referrals.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent/relevant work experience

5-7 years’ experience calling on independent auto dealers or B2B auto finance sales or specialty Finance sales (dealer services, inventory lending, or related F&I product)

Compensation and Benefits

Annual base Salary: $150k with Bonus commissions $150K capped at $300K

Car: allowance provided

Other benefits (Medical, dental, and Vision) allowance provided
