Sr Associate, Asset Management

The Senior Associate, Real Estate Asset Management job is responsible for maximizing the value of the organization's real estate portfolio through the execution of asset managing, leasing, development (if necessary), and dispositions of diversified, domestic equity real estate investments. Working independently under limited supervision, this job seeks to achieve superior returns on real estate assets through tactical oversight of property management, capital investments and leasing while operating in a highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Supports a portfolio of real estate assets within the Workplace sector and / or directly manages individual assets or portfolios.

Negotiates property management, leasing and construction contracts with support from senior management.

Recommends and analyzes investment strategies for a significant portfolio of real estate investments, usually covering more than one region or geographical market.

Responsible for the financial analysis / modeling of current and projected performance of property investments to report to senior management.

Maintains familiarity with current issues impacting the real estate investment management business.

Possesses significant knowledge of current real estate market conditions and industry network for submarkets within which the assets are located.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of real estate private equity asset management or capital markets work

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of institutional investment management experience

Direct experience managing trophy class A, top tier primary market, institutional quality office assets.

Strong financial modeling / underwriting and Excel skills, as well as a high level of knowledge of Argus DCF / Enterprise.

Strong knowledge of commercial real estate, economics, finance, valuation, private equity, financing, accounting and legal structures.

Advanced analytical / reasoning skills to effectively and timely manage and identify investment opportunities which meet the long and short-term goals of multiple investor clients.

Ability to operate independently in executing on a business plan as well as sourcing, underwriting and negotiating transactions.

Strong written and verbal presentation skills that are directed to internal and external clients.

Strong networking skills with current market network and knowledge

Additional Job Detail

The role is primarily to be focused on Workplace equity assets but there could be additional work required on Retail equity assets depending upon the needs of the business

Anticipated Posting End Date : 2025-11-06 Base Pay Range : $91,700 / yr - $132,000 / yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non‑annual sales incentive plans, or other non‑annual incentive plans).
