As an Actuarial Analyst on our Personal Lines team, you’ll leverage standard ratemaking techniques, support rate filings, and learn advanced actuarial methods to help shape our pricing strategy. This role offers a clear path for growth through Casualty Actuarial Society exams and hands‑on training, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking to build a robust actuarial career.
What will you do
Ratemaking:
Prepare rate indications and experience exhibits using standard actuarial methodologies.
Rate Filings:
Provide impact analyses and actuarial support for rate filings.
Data Extraction:
Develop skills to extract and manipulate data using industry‑standard software.
Professional Development:
Enhance actuarial expertise through exam progress (CAS) and on‑the‑job training.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Work with internal teams to ensure accurate data interpretation and consistent actuarial practices.
Additional Duties:
Contribute to ad‑hoc projects, maintain compliance with corporate policies, and continually refine best practices.
What will you need
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field preferred. Successful completion of 1–2 CAS exams is a plus.
Experience:
Actuarial internship or relevant business experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with data manipulation tools.
Soft Skills:
Effective communication, detail‑oriented mindset, and eagerness to learn and adapt.
Salary Range $65,336 - $98,005
