Position Summary As a member of the Opioid Response team, the Prevention Coordinator I – Opioid Response Mobile Team role will support the opioid response work of the Prevention Department at CrescentCare. The Prevention Department supports the Mobile Unit Opioid Response program, linking key populations to opioid response services and care, and coordinates with community partners to implement opioid response programs across the New Orleans Region. The Coordinator will support project management and implementation, organize project meetings, coordinate project supplies, assist with project reports, and other duties as assigned. Additionally, the Coordinator will help the Prevention department in conducting counseling, testing, navigation, linkage, adherence/retention support with an emphasis of serving key populations. Work with the Prevention Manager and Opioid Response Team, and other agency departments and partners, including medical providers, to actively test, link, and navigate clients to services including medical care and essential support services. Assist in compliance with funder requirements and attainment of program deliverables. Assist supervisor and managers with meeting program area requirements, including data management, analysis and reporting, staff and staffing needs, supplies/inventory management, and all quality assurance (QA) measures. Ensure all reporting and evaluation mechanisms are complied with.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Liaise with Opioid Response Team, medical providers, external stakeholders, and Prevention Manager to support the Opioid Response program.

Conduct HIV/HCV/STI counseling and testing.

Assist in data collection and data analysis, including electronic medical record follow up, to measure achievement of linkage deliverables for prevention grants.

Coordinate project supplies, inventory control, and procurement of supplies.

Assist in the development of project reports

Assist with monitoring and evaluation.

Ability to work occasional non-traditional hours.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and 2 years' work experience with priority populations at high risk for HIV and Hepatitis C, required or Bachelors and competency with excel/data entry/computer literacy.

Comparable education and experience will be considered.
