Job Summary The Department of Science and Mathematics at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College seeks to hire a Lecturer of Biology that will serve undergraduates in the Bachelor of Science in Biology program and non‑majors in science and pre‑nursing required coursework. The successful candidate will hold a minimum of a master's degree in biology or a closely related field. Applicants with specialization in comparative anatomy and physiology are preferred. Interest and ability to teach environmental science, zoology, or other related specialties is desired. This is a 10‑month, non‑tenure‑track faculty position.

Responsibilities

Teaching a combination of general biology, environmental science, and associated labs, comparative anatomy, and physiology.

Active participation in teaching, research, and service activities in the Department of Science and Mathematics.

Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and collaborative teamwork.

Maintain laboratory instruction and equipment.

Mentor undergraduate research and contribute to a strong commitment to undergraduate education.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in biology or a closely related field.

Specialization in animal or human anatomy and physiology.

Experience with laboratory instruction and maintenance.

Strong commitment to undergraduate education.
