Overview At Atlassian, we firmly believe in three core pillars: Amazing Tools, Empowered Teams, and an Amazing Engineering Culture. Our Developer Experience platform plays a pivotal role in eliminating obstacles by creating a developer environment on the same platform as Jira and Confluence. We are seeking an experienced DevExp Solution Sales Executive to join our team and drive revenue growth in the AMER region. In this role, the individual will lead specialized Developer Experience sales efforts, collaborate closely with clients, direct and partner sales teams, and contribute to our go‑to‑market strategy in partnership with a diverse cross‑functional team.
Responsibilities
Drive outstanding growth in DevExp sales by effectively executing the go‑to‑market strategy.
Develop and execute a territory plan to sell to customers based on their business needs.
Establish and maintain relationships with senior‑level clients, particularly C‑level executives and decision‑makers.
Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, managing various stakeholders.
Serve as a customer advocate, relaying feedback to enhance solutions and share insights with the product, marketing, and R&D teams.
Generate high‑quality leads and acquire new customers by collaborating closely with our direct sales team and channel partners.
Accurately forecast and report on revenue opportunities and track deal progression.
Collaborate with channel partners to create tailored solutions that effectively tackle the unique challenges faced by clients.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of enterprise sales experience, ideally specializing in DevOps, Software Development Tools, Application Lifecycle Management, and solution sales.
Experience utilizing MEDDPICC as a sales methodology.
Track record of surpassing sales targets showcasing proven sales techniques for achieving success.
Ability to establish and nurture robust relationships with senior decision‑makers in DevExp within large enterprise customers.
Skilled communicator proficient in verbal and written communication, negotiation, and closing deals.
Collaboration skill: experience working closely with extended sales teams and channel partners to achieve successful client outcomes, proactively seeking opportunities to instigate change and disrupt the status quo in a positive manner.
Compensation At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. The baseline of our range is above the typical market range, and for this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $211,500 - $276,125
Zone B: $190,800 - $249,100
Zone C: $176,400 - $230,300
