Position Summary This position is responsible for designing and executing preclinical in vivo pharmacology studies to evaluate the efficacy, mechanism of action (MOA), and biomarkers of drug candidates. The successful candidate will be a key member of project teams, providing critical in vivo data to support target validation and candidate selection, and driving the progression of our R&D pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Independently design and implement in vivo efficacy studies, including establishing and validating relevant disease animal models (e.g., subcutaneous/orthotopic xenograft models, transgenic models, disease induction models).
Perform animal dosing via various routes of administration (e.g., IV, IP, SC, PO), collect and process various biological samples (blood, tissues), and monitor animal physiological and pathological parameters.
Analyze samples using a variety of techniques (e.g., ELISA, Flow Cytometry, IHC, PCR), integrate data, interpret results, and evaluate the efficacy and MOA of drug candidates.
Prepare detailed study protocols, experimental records, and final study reports. Clearly and effectively present scientific data and findings in team meetings and to multidisciplinary projects.
Work closely with in vitro pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, biomarker, and toxicology teams to provide integrated scientific insights for project decision-making.
