Description Hanwha Qcells USA Corp (Qcells USA) is a leader in providing utility‑scale solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) project development, alongside engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services nationwide. Summary The Site Manager is accountable for comprehensive management of project scope, ensuring all construction activities meet strategic objectives and contractual requirements. The role demands rigorous adherence to project timelines, budget oversight, quality control, subcontractor management, and proactive risk mitigation. The Manager reports to the Field Operations Manager and works onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm local time), with travel up to 100%.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

Oversee and direct daily construction operations, ensuring alignment with project timelines and financial objectives.

Manage all stages of large‑scale construction projects, from planning to completion.

Develop and review project schedules, cost estimates, budgets, scopes of work, and supplier quotes.

Supervise implementations to ensure cost, time, quality, and execution guidelines are met.

Create work breakdown structures and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Represent the project to external stakeholders, including investors, authorities, and grid operators.

Collaborate with the Director of Projects on engineering, procurement, and work planning.

Negotiate contracts and administer subcontractor performance on site.

Maintain essential site layout and infrastructure, ensuring water, power, internet, and office facilities.

Coordinate staffing, monitor productivity, and manage scheduling to avoid delays.

Implement and oversee a quality control program and EHSQ documentation for EMS upkeep.

Ensure training, certification, and safety compliance for all field staff.

Serve as liaison between construction crews and client representatives.

Operate company vehicles for site supervision under various conditions.

Adhere to attendance and company policies, and execute other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

5‑7 years managing large construction projects, preferably power stations or utility‑scale infrastructure.

Minimum 2 years of solar PV or wind power project experience.

Experience tracking and controlling budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.

Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore).

Strong understanding of construction methods, blueprints, and building codes.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to lead & motivate teams, manage subcontractors, and enforce safety regulations.

Knowledge of EHS standards and compliance requirements.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 100% in varied weather.

OSHA certification or equivalent construction regulatory knowledge.

Commitment to continuous professional development in construction management.

Travel: up to 100% as required.
