Summary The Project Manager will manage various aspects and phases of a project life cycle, ensuring adherence to enterprise, local project, and program management standards, frameworks, and processes. The role reports to the Senior Director of Construction or a designated manager, is hybrid (remote or project site), works Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and requires a minimum of 50 % travel.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for all stages of multi‑million dollar construction projects.

Develop, manage and maintain project schedules and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders—to ensure milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Prepare cost reports regarding the current status of a project, including estimated costs, revenues, and timelines for both internal and external parties.

Maintain scopes of work, standards, and quotes from suppliers in an on‑time, on‑budget approach.

Serve as the primary point of contract for internal and external stakeholders; manage contract negotiations and issue escalation.

Identify and manage project costs related to time, materials, and labor, including change orders, lump‑sum, and time‑and‑material contracts.

Perform post‑project cost analysis and reporting.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering Management, or a related field.

5+ years of professional experience managing medium‑to‑large construction projects, renewable energy projects preferred.

Experience utilizing project management tools, critical‑path organization, and compliance documentation.

Leadership and cross‑functional team influence skills.

Ability to read, analyze, and understand design documents, blueprints, and Microsoft Project schedules.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong multitasking, prioritization, and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to review, interpret, and negotiate contracts.

Ability to manage budgets, expenditures, and contracting processes.

EXAMPLES OF PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Stationary position: 90% time seated, up to 8 hours per day.

Occasional bending, standing, stooping, and walking.

Infrequent lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.

Frequent interpersonal communication and use of sight for computer and document tasks.

Occasional stair climbing.

Minimum 50 % travel required.

EXAMPLES OF WORK ENVIRONMENT

Regular professional office setting.

Noise level ranges from low to moderate in office; moderate to high at construction sites.

Role may transition to onsite or hybrid arrangement under business needs and department head decision.
