MSB Resources We are seeking an experienced Director of Property Management to oversee operations for our portfolio of market-rate multifamily assets. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker who can drive operational excellence, financial performance, and resident satisfaction across multiple properties. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing residential communities and leading property management teams to achieve exceptional results. Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of all luxury multifamily properties within assigned region Ensure consistent delivery of premium resident experiences across all properties Monitor and optimize property performance metrics including NOI, occupancy rates, and resident retention Conduct regular property inspections and operational assessments Implement and maintain luxury service standards and brand consistency Financial Performance

Develop and manage annual operating budgets totaling $15-25 million across portfolio Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control expenses Review and approve capital expenditure requests and oversee major renovation projects Conduct quarterly business reviews with ownership and executive leadership Optimize rental rates through market analysis and revenue management strategies Team Leadership & Development

Manage and mentor all on-site property managers and assistant managers Recruit, hire, and onboard property management staff Conduct performance evaluations and develop individual development plans Lead regular training sessions on luxury hospitality standards and operational procedures Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement Resident Relations & Retention

Ensure exceptional resident satisfaction through premium service delivery Handle escalated resident concerns and complaints with diplomatic resolution Oversee resident retention programs and renewal strategies Review and approve lease terms for high-value residents and corporate accounts Maintain relationships with key residents and corporate clients Vendor & Contractor Management

Oversee relationships with key vendors, contractors, and service providers Negotiate contracts and ensure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards Monitor service delivery and contractor performance across all properties Coordinate major maintenance projects and capital improvements Ensure all work meets luxury property standards and brand requirements Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local housing regulations Oversee safety and security protocols across all properties Manage insurance claims and risk mitigation strategies Conduct regular compliance audits and implement corrective measures Maintain current knowledge of fair housing laws and industry regulations Experience & Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred Minimum 7-10 years of property management experience with at least 5 years in luxury multifamily Previous regional or multi-site management experience required Proven track record of managing portfolios valued at $100M+ preferred Experience with Class A luxury properties Knowledge of luxury amenity operations (concierge, valet, fitness facilities) Experience with new lease-up properties or major renovations Technology-forward approach to property management This is an on-site position located in Baltimore, MD.
