Be among the first 25 applicants. Responsible for programming horizontal and 5-axis CNC mills using Mastercam. Interprets engineering drawings, supports setup and machining operations, and collaborates with production, quality, and engineering teams. May interface with customer engineers and provide leadership on the shop floor. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program and refine CNC toolpaths using Mastercam for horizontal and 5-axis mills. Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints; translate design intent into effective CNC programs. Set up and operate CNC machines as needed to validate programs and support production. Build complex parts, tools, and plastic injection mold components using CNC equipment. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and participate in Post-Mortem reviews when necessary. Perform advanced machining operations on various metals and plastics. Use math and apply GD&T principles to ensure tight tolerances and quality standards. Mentor junior machinists and act as a technical lead on the shop floor. Interface with internal engineering and quality teams to resolve technical issues. Communicate clearly with team members, engineers, and occasionally customers to ensure alignment. May act as a Lead and direct other machinists as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Production, Quality and Engineering. May interact directly with customers on technical matters. EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 6+ years of CNC programming experience, specifically with horizontal and 5-axis mills Minimum 10+ years of overall machinist experience, including setup and operations Proficient in Mastercam (required) Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading Solid understanding of CAD/CAM software integration Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to lead and mentor less experienced machinists
