Scrum Master, Lead – Chicago, IL
Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Scrum Master, Lead based out of our Chicago office. The Fitch Group Scrum Master Center of Excellence (CoE) is a global chapter dedicated to supporting, empowering and knowledge sharing for all organizational Agile practitioners.
Overview As a Scrum Master, you will guide, coach, and motivate teams to increase Agile fluency and adoption. You will organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution. You will also oversee scope, timeline, quality, goals, and deliverables, ensuring progress tracking through Agile metrics and coordinating with other squads and product owners.

What You’ll Do
Agile Coaching and Facilitation: Coach teams to increase Agile fluency and adoption.
Scrum Ceremonies: Organize and lead sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Project and Scope Management: Manage scope, timeline, quality, and business objectives; conduct quarterly planning.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate with squads, product owners, and tribe leads; participate in Scrum of Scrums.
Chapter Contribution: Contribute to the Scrum Master chapter and coaching Communities of Practice.
What You Need
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Management, or equivalent.
3–5 years of Agile experience, especially with Scrum.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent.
Experience coaching squads and other Scrum Masters.
Experience with distributed scrum teams.
Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Agile and continuous improvement mindset.
Passion for continuous learning.
What Would Make You Stand Out
Experience mentoring people.
In‑depth knowledge of Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, MS Whiteboard, and MS Forms.
Familiarity with prompt engineering and Generative AI.
Experience with Behavior Driven Development and workshop facilitation (Event Storming, User Story Mapping).

Location & Compensation Chicago, IL – Base salary range: $115,000 to $125,000 per year, plus additional compensation such as commissions, bonuses, and incentives.
