Job Summary The incumbent will sell frozen food products such as hors d'oeuvres, breakfast, sides & entrees through foodservice distributors to the restaurant, hotel, country club, colleges and institutional segments.

Essential Functions

Creates, maintains, and fosters relationships with end-user customers to support their menu needs agnostic of distributor.

Develops and manages business, provides sales support, and marketing activities working as a liaison between the direct end-user customer and their preferred distributor.

Plans in conjunction with marketing department and is available to work trade shows.

Develops and executes comprehensive Sales and Marketing Plans to drive business and promote the brand.

Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to promote the use of designated brand products.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field from an accredited university or HS equivalent and 8+ years of direct food sales experience.

Chefs, Culinary Sales, Broker and/or Foodservice experience strongly preferred.

Minimum of 5 years Culinary (Chef) and/or food manufacturing sales work experience.

Knowledge / experience with GPOs and/or food distribution channels (i.e. Specialty Produce, Meat or Seafood distributors or broadline Sysco, US Foods, etc.).

1+ year using Salesforce or other CRM experience.

Working knowledge with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
