Client is seeking a passionate and experienced
Criminal Defense Attorney
to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least
three (3) years of substantive criminal law experience
who is looking for flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact.
This role offers the convenience of primarily remote work while receiving full administrative, technical, and professional support from our Washington-based offices.
As a key member of our defense team, you’ll represent clients in misdemeanor and felony cases, provide strategic legal counsel, and manage all aspects of criminal defense—from intake to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a full criminal defense caseload independently from start to finish.
Conduct client consultations and provide compassionate, informed legal guidance.
Draft and argue motions, briefs, and pleadings in state and local courts.
Appear in court for hearings, trials, and negotiations as required.
Engage in case strategy development, legal research, and evidence analysis.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Collaborate with firm leadership and support staff for efficient case management.
Maintain professionalism and adhere to Washington State Rules of Professional Conduct.
Document an average of
six (6) billable hours per business day
(120 per month / 1440 per year).
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD)
from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the
Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) .
Minimum
3 years of criminal defense experience .
Proven ability to manage cases independently and effectively.
