Base Pay Range $100,000.00/yr – $150,000.00/yr

Job Details – Responsibilities

Work hybrid remote

Litigate workers’ compensation cases before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission (IWCC)

Represent employers and insurers in hearings, trials, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations

Conduct case investigations and prepare legal analyses

Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements

Negotiate case resolutions and settlements on behalf of clients

Provide timely communication and reporting to clients and claims handlers

Qualifications

J.D. and licensed to practice in Illinois (in good standing)

1+ years of experience preferred; we will train the right candidate

Strong background in workers’ compensation defense or related litigation

Proven ability to manage cases independently and effectively represent employer interests
