Job Summary
The Buyer/Planner will serve as a critical bridge between Product Development, Category Managers and Operations. This role is responsible for planning and executing seasonal buy plans, maintaining healthy inventory levels, ensuring alignment between forecast and trends. This role’s work and responsibilities will have a direct impact on our different sales channels (Ecommerce, Wholesale, Marketplaces (Amazon FBA/FBM)).
This position requires managing 1 team member and is directly reported to the CFO, dotted line to the Product Director.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Build, plan and execute seasonal buys based on historical data, sales goals, promotion calendar and assortment plans
Manage and update the product master data
Manage replenishment of Never Out SKU and submit purchase orders to our sourcing offices/suppliers through demand forecasting
Monitor unit costs, MOQ, MCQ and delivery timelines to meet margin targets and calendar deadlines
Collaborate on product strategies driven by special events/launches
Work on Amazon FBA replenishments
Work on OTB for the company and per User Group to track inventory throughout time
Work closely with Operations regarding inbound receipts of merchandise
Qualifications
BA/BS degree (Master is a plus)
3-5 years of combined experience in planning, buying, and inventory management with apparel, accessories or consumer goods.
Experience working in a multi‑channel business (DTC, Market place, Wholesale)
Data‑driven mindset with the ability to interpret trends and make actionable actions
Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve issues
Highly organized, deadline‑driven, and collaborative
Practical sense
Assertiveness and strong initiative
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment
Excellent organizational skills
Self‑motivated and able to work independently
Proficient in Excel and PowerBI
Experience with SAP Business One is a plus
