Production Manager
to lead and optimize plant operations. This role is responsible for overseeing production processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving performance improvements in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Manage staffing, line balancing, and daily resource allocation to achieve output and efficiency goals. Review hourly and shift performance data—adjust schedules, reassign personnel, or coordinate maintenance interventions as needed. Ensure all team leaders and supervisors maintain clear visual management tools (SQDCP boards, OEE dashboards, downtime trackers). Enforce adherence to standard work instructions and 5S/Lean principles throughout the plant. Monitor and analyze
OEE (Availability, Performance, Quality)
for each production cell. Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities related to changeover time, equipment downtime, and cycle time variance. Manage labor, overtime, and material usage to achieve cost per unit and productivity targets. Use ERP and MES systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Plex) to maintain accurate production and employee data. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum +8 years of experience in a production leadership role. Strong organizational and managerial skills Proficiency in production planning and performance management Familiarity with AITF16949 quality standards. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication across all organizational levels. High level of confidentiality and professionalism. Computer literacy and data-driven mindset. Seniority level
